Gnome Magic Gardens
Set in 2 1/2 acres the garden has mainly unusual acid loving shrubs and plants including rhododendron, azalea, clematis, iron woods, and the wild life includes resident American terrapins approximately 30 years old and a family of grass snakes (not to be handled they bite)
Periodic visitors incuse green woodpeckers, pheasant, squirrel, jays, rabbits, as well as robins, blackbirds, etc, etc. The 2 natural ponds have a boggy wet area in which ducks make their nest.
Admission charges Adults: £5.00, Senior Citizens £4.50, Children (3-16yrs): £3.00, Children under 3 FREE There are no credit card facilities so please bring cash or cheque book.
